2023 President Elect/Treasurer Candidate
Kimberly Ryan

I am thrilled to be nominated to run as President-Elect/Treasurer.
Currently, I am chair of the education committee and serving on the board of directors. In the past, I have served on the grievance committee, Realtors who care, and numerous sub committees. I believe access to educational opportunities for everyone – from new agents, to Broker-managers, and owners – is imperative to the growth and strength of our WMLAR association. Such opportunities are not only key to our individual businesses and the service we provide to our clients, but they also reinforce to our communities what we bring to the table as Realtors.
The reputation we build with the public means everything, and as we place that Realtor R behind our name, we promise it’s more than just a letter. It’s more than a job, a career or a love for real estate itself. Being a Realtor means client before self, relationship over transaction. I am a wife, mother of 5, grandmother of 3 and have spent almost 20 Years in the business.
I’m often asked why I share my knowledge with future competition as a mentor. My answer is simple: it’s important to me to share the knowledge I’ve gained over the years with the next generation of Realtors. This industry that I’m so passionate about has given me so much and I want to make sure our community is in great hands with all up-and-coming Realtors.
In my 20 years experience, the best transactions are done jointly with a Realtor who is kind, educated and professional. I believe it makes everyone a winner!
Board of Directors Candidates
The five individuals listed below are running for three (3) Board of Directors positions each being three years.
Aris Knitter-Lee

I am interested in a Board of Directors seat for several reasons. I want to serve the members of the association that supports a job and members I love. I now feel ready to take this step to help serve the members of our association, when I was asked to a few years ago I didn’t feel I was at a point where could give enough of myself. Now, with time, more experience and having completed my Brokers license I feel capable to serve in this capacity.
Another reason I am seeking a seat at this time, is I know the next few years will see major changes as Dale is considering retirement and we will be searching for someone to step into that role. I look forward to the opportunity to be a part of that process to ensure we continue to have great leadership.

Linda Crouse

My fellow REALTORS, I have worked with many of you over the past 25 years here in the west Michigan area. I have had the privilege to serve our association as a volunteer every year in various capacities.
I have served on government affairs, professional standards, grievance, SWMRIC and MichRIC Specs, REALTORS Who Care, as well as Orientation Instructor and Chair for both Education committee and MLS BOD. I have worked many functions and events over the years including Oktoberfest/Poker Run, Chili Cookoff, Christmas Party and Golf Outings.
It would be my pleasure to serve on the WMLAR Board of Directors. I am asking for your vote to continue to work to improve our association, to serve the communities in which we live and work, and to keep the REALTOR at the center of the transaction.
Taressa Sprick

Hello! My name is Taressa Sprick, I wanted to share a little about me. I was born & raised in the Holland area. I have been married to Todd for 32 years, we have 2 amazing kids Stephanie & Cody and have 5, yes 5 Grandkids. They are my heart, I love every minute I have with them.
It seems like yesterday I got licensed as a Realtor, only 26 years ago. I also obtained my Brokers license in 2018. I have a passion for Real Estate (more importantly the people I meet) and still love what I do every day. I have been with @Home Realty since their doors opened.
Over the years, I served on Realtors Who Care & Grievance committees. I am a past WMLAR board member and am currently serving on Pro Standards along with Community Advocacy Impact Committee.
I would love the opportunity to give back and serve on the WMLAR board. Our association has an excellent reputation and excels at supporting us as Realtors. I would like to be a part of continuing
that service. I have created so many solid relationships in this business among you- my Colleagues and would love the opportunity to represent you and your voice when it comes to decisions about our association which directly affects our business.
Please consider voting for me. I will work hard for you.
Thanks! Taressa
Angela Hyde- Realtor, Associate Broker, ABR, SRS, PSA, MRP

For the past 9 years I have been an active member of WMLAR, serving on multiple committees. Currently serving on the Grievance and Education Committees, member of Women’s Council of Realtors, a previous member (and former chair) of Realtors Who Care and previously served on Government Affairs.
Three things that I am passionate about are Fair Housing, Continuing Education and Community Engagement. I am a full time Realtor but also fill the role of Education Facilitator for our brokerage. This allows me an opportunity to pay it forward to new agents, just as my mentor did for me. Instilling the message that the core of a real estate career is about building & fostering relationships with your clients and other professionals within this industry & your local community.
I believe being a member of the board allows me to have open dialogue with WMLAR members creating an opportunity to advocate for all. Along with creating a welcoming space for learning and sharing of ideas as that is paramount for us all to grow together.
And just in case you thought I was all “business” … when I am not working…I live in Spring Lake with my husband Rich (teacher and basketball coach), our oldest Julia (who heads to GVSU this fall) and our youngest Anna (entering her junior year in high school). Our family loves to travel, go camping, spend time with our dog Millie, attend lots and lots of basketball games and we enjoy movie and family game nights!
Leigh Lohman

My name is Leigh Lohman and I have been in the real estate business, in some facet or another, for more than 20 years. I’ve been a residential Realtor and part of this Association for over 10 years. I am an Associate Broker with Capstone Companies and Unsalted Living in Grand Haven and also serve on the Grievance Committee.
I am honored to have been nominated for the Board of Directors. In addition to real estate, I work alongside my husband as a leadership consultant with the Maxwell Leadership Team. It would be my pleasure to serve my fellow Association members in this role.
Thank you for your consideration.
