Help Save a Life—Still Time to Donate!
WMLAR’s Community, Advocacy, and Impact (CAI) Committee is in the final stretch of this year’s Life Jacket Drive, and we need your help to reach our goal by June 15. Every donation—big or small—goes toward putting new, vest style U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets into the hands of children and families across Allegan, Muskegon, and Ottawa counties.
These jackets are distributed through the Sheriff Marine Divisions and placed at local county and state parks along the lakeshore, where they’re available for public use with water safety info included. Whether it’s helping someone in a moment of need or providing a safe day at the beach, your donation makes a direct impact.
How to Donate:

✔️ Want to give a new, vest style Coast Guard-approved life jacket instead? We welcome those too!
The CAI Committee will handle the purchasing and distribution of the jackets—just click, give, and know you’re helping keep someone safe.
