Jon Broadbooks is WMLAR’s Chief Executive Officer.
He joined WMLAR in April, 2024, after serving as chief communications officer for Midwest Real Estate Data, LLC, one of the nation’s largest multiple listing services serving much of Illinois, and as vice president of communications for Illinois REALTORS®.
While working with the state association, he served as the director of Real Property Alliance, a non-profit organization focused on promoting private property rights and sound property tax policy.
Jon began his career as a crime reporter in Chattanooga, Tenn. He later worked as the top newsroom editor at media organizations in Texas, Mississippi, New York and Illinois.
A Georgia native, Jon graduated with a bachelor’s degree in history/political science from King University in Bristol, Tenn., and later received a master’s degree in communications from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He currently lives in Holland, Mich.
