Making a Difference: Volunteer with WMLAR’s Community Outreach Committee

At the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of REALTORS® (WMLAR), we believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. Our Community Outreach Committee has a full calendar of meaningful volunteer opportunities this fall—and we’re calling on our members to step up and get involved!

Here’s how you can make a difference in the coming weeks:

🤝Community Action House — Holland, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, Dec. 9, 10AM-12:30PM
Give back to the Holland community by volunteering with Community Action House! Help sort donations, color block clothing, and assist with other projects that support local families. Food Club volunteer opportunities are also available Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Dec. 18 from 9:30-11:30AM. Closed-toe shoes are required for Food Club.

🏠 Habitat for Humanity Build —Grand Haven Oct. 21 (2 shifts: 8AM-12PM, 1PM-4PM. Meal included!)
Roll up your sleeves and help a local family achieve the dream of homeownership. No construction experience? No problem! Habitat for Humanity provides all the tools, training, and guidance you’ll need on site.

🧺Kids’ Food Basket — Holland (9:30-11AM): Nov. 4, Dec. 2| Muskegon (12-1:30PM): Nov. 3, Dec. 1
Pack a little kindness into every lunch! Join Kids’ Food Basket to help prepare nutritious meals for local children and make a difference, one lunch at a time.
