WMLAR Members: Get ahead with FREE CE opportunities starting this May!
At the West Michigan Lakeshore Association of REALTORS® (WMLAR), we’re committed to supporting your professional development — and that includes helping you complete your mandatory continuing education and training for free. Not sure what continued education is required? Click here to learn more. Your official continued education record can be found with the CE Marketplace.
New Member Orientation — Now Open to All WMLAR Members via Zoom
Beginning in May 2025, our New Member Orientation sessions will be open not just to new members, but also to existing WMLAR members looking to earn up to 9 FREE CE credits. These sessions are Zoom-only and CE Marketplace approved, offering:
- ✅ 2 legal credits
- ✅ 2 fair housing credits with a brand new class that meets NAR’s learning objectives AND qualifies for licensing credits.
- ✅ 5 Elective Credits (Introduction to WMLAR & Government Affairs Panel; FlexMLS Training & MLS Rules, Regulations, and Policies; ANSI Measuring Standards; REALTOR Safety; and “Real Life and Real Estate” Panel Discussion)
This is a great opportunity to knock out a significant portion of your annual education requirements from the comfort of your home or office.
Orientation Dates for 2025: May 20 & 21; July 15 & 16; Sept. 9 & 10; and Oct. 28 & 29. Registration is required in your member portal. Participants must be on camera and fully engaged throughout the sessions to receive CE credit.
Upcoming Fair Housing & Code of Ethics Trainings – Also Free
In addition to Orientation, we’ll be offering multiple standalone Fair Housing trainings that meet NAR’s newly updated learning objectives, as well as Code of Ethics courses throughout the year. These offerings are free for WMLAR members and meet your triennial and annual obligations. The current NAR Code of Ethics Cycle 8 ends on December 31, 2028. As we get closer to the deadline, additional classes may carry a fee so take advantage of the free options.
