Orientation Requirement

ALL orientation participants, regardless of time in the industry, must complete NAR’s Code of Ethics for the current cycle prior to the start of day one’s program.

  • New members must complete the New Member Code of Ethics course.
  • Returning or transferring members must submit proof of Code of Ethics completion for the current cycle (cycle 8) or complete it through this link HERE.
  • New/Returning may also choose to complete NAR’s free C2EX program, which fulfills the Code of Ethics requirement and earns a professional endorsement.

Continued Education Credits (CE)

WMLAR’s orientation program includes 9 hours of continued education credits needed for relicensure and satisfies NAR’s fair housing membership requirement. Create a free account with Michigan REALTORS’ CE Marketplace to track your credits. CE Marketplace, not WMLAR, will be your official record of credits earned should you be audited by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
