MLS Field Updates Now Live
As of Aug. 18, 2025, several important updates have been made to the MLS system to give members more flexibility and improve listing accuracy. Here’s what you’ll see:
- Agent Only Remarks – Expanded to 800 characters
- Public Remarks – Expanded to 1000 characters
- Home Energy Score (Optional) – New field to enter a 1–10 rating
- Association Field (Required) – A simple Yes/No toggle to identify whether a property has an HOA. When set to “Yes,” it will trigger the related Association Info fields.
- Exclusions (Optional, 250 characters) – Space to note what is not included in the sale (e.g., chandeliers, appliances, or personal property).
Important Notes on New Fields
If you’d like these new details to appear on your current listings, you will need to go back and manually update them. Only listings you update yourself will display the new information.
Why are my Agent or Public Remarks missing?
To expand the character limits, we had to create new fields and move the existing data into them. That transfer is currently in progress.
- Active listings: Already complete.
- Pending and off-market listings: Currently being updated, starting with the most recent. All will be finalized within the week.
⚠️ Don’t worry—your remarks are not lost. They are simply moving to their new fields. Most members will see the remarks reappear within a few hours; older listings may take a few days longer.
These changes are designed to give you more space for remarks, more accurate property details, and better transparency for buyers and agents. We appreciate your patience as the system finishes processing the updates.
