Serve Those Who Serve: Earn Your Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification

When military service members receive new orders, their relocation timeline can move quickly. Having a REALTOR® who understands the unique needs, benefits, and timelines involved in military moves can make all the difference.

The National Association of REALTORS Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification helps REALTORS® confidently assist active-duty military members, veterans, and their families with housing decisions during a relocation.

On May 1 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., WMLAR is offering the one-day MRP Certification Course in person at WMLAR in Grand Haven. This certification course is presented by Tom Stearns through licensing with the Center for REALTOR Development, designed to help REALTORS®:

  • Understand the relocation process for military families
  • Learn how VA financing and military benefits impact housing decisions
  • Identify and serve military buyers and sellers more effectively
  • Provide guidance during one of the most time-sensitive moves a family can experience

This course is also CE Marketplace approved for 6 hours of elective continuing education credit, making it a valuable professional development opportunity while you earn your CE.

How to Earn the Certification

Step 1: Complete the one-day course
📅 May 1 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. at WMLAR- 12916 168th Ave. Grand Haven.

ZOOM Participation available if you are further than 60 miles from WMLAR.

This course is also CE Marketplace approved for 6 hours of elective continuing education credit, making it a valuable professional development opportunity while you earn your CE.

Registration Fees

  • WMLAR Member Pricing: $35 early bird (register by April 22). $65 after April 22
  • Non-Member Pricing: $55 early bird (register by April 22). $85 after April 22

Step 2: Submit the one-time $195 application fee to the National Association of REALTORS® through your membership account with them..

Once completed, the MRP Certification does not require renewal fees.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be granted for requests received five (5) business days prior to the scheduled class, minus a $35 processing fee. No refunds will be granted after that date, but WMLAR will gladly transfer your registration to the next course offering. Minimum class sizes may apply.
