Why You Should Earn Your Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification

With nearly 56,000 veterans living in Michigan, the National Association of REALTORS® Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification is an essential tool for REALTORS® looking to serve a unique and deserving group. Military families face complex relocations, and having an MRP certification means you can expertly guide them through finding the right home and utilizing their benefits, while also standing out as a trusted expert in this specialized market.

At WMLAR, we’ve made it easy to earn your MRP by splitting the 6-hour certification into two convenient sessions on Nov. 4 and Nov. 11 (Veterans Day), from 9-Noon each day. The course also includes 6 hours of elective credit from the CE Marketplace. The course, led by Tom Stearns, is deeply discounted at just $50 per person—plus lunch is generously provided by Premier Lakeshore Title. After completing the course, there’s a one-time NAR certification fee of $195, but the perks of having this important certification are invaluable.

Despite this being such a relevant and in-demand course, we’ve struggled to get local agents to commit, even though other regions have seen REALTORS® sign up in droves. As the only official Coast Guard City in the U.S., Grand Haven is steeped in military tradition and pride. What better place to become an expert in serving the brave men and women who serve our country?

This is your chance to gain the knowledge and certification to help Michigan’s military families, grow your business, and make a meaningful impact in your community. Don’t wait—sign up today in your member portal by clicking here.
