WMLAR Members Gather for Summer Picnic at Tanglefoot Park

WMLAR members, affiliates, staff, and guests gathered at beautiful Tanglefoot Park in Spring Lake for the 2026 WMLAR member picnic, enjoying an afternoon of food, networking, and music.

Despite a cooler forecast and the possibility of rain, nearly 120 WMLAR members joined us throughout the open-house style event, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for members from across the WMLAR service area. REALTORS® and affiliate members represented communities throughout West Michigan, with attendees traveling from the north and south to connect and unwind together outside of the busy real estate market.

Guests enjoyed a delicious barbecue lunch from Holy Smokers Barbecue featuring pulled pork, pulled chicken, mac and cheese, BBQ beans, potato salad, cornbread, and rolls, along with fresh fruit, refreshing beverages, and sweet treats from the Bumblebee Ice Cream Truck. Live music from Coty Bouchard helped set the tone for a fun and casual afternoon of conversation and connection.

Events like the annual picnic continue to provide valuable opportunities for members to strengthen relationships, connect with affiliate partners, and build a stronger sense of community across the association.
